Practical Application of Generative AI for Project Managers
Project Management Institute (PMI)
Free, about 5 hours, intermediate (our assessment), free CPD certificate. Last verified 4 Oct 2026.
Before you apply
- Level is our assessment. The provider doesn't state one.
Our take
For project managers who already dabble with AI tools and want to apply them to real project work. It stands out on value: free with a PMI account, hands-on across eight project areas, and it earns 5 PDUs if you keep a PMI certification. The caveat: prerequisites aren't stated, and the intermediate level is our assessment, not PMI's. If you'd prefer live Irish delivery and an exam, look at IPM AI Project Professional Certification.

What you'll learn
Five hours of hands-on PMI e-learning on combining AI tools, prompting techniques and workflow automation across eight project areas: stakeholders, team, development approach, planning, project work, delivery, measurement and uncertainty. Earns 5 PDUs.
